  9.                     An HP LAN Manager/X HP-UX server should be

  48.                Disk Requirements and Usage
  49.  
  50.                     The disk space required for HP LAN Manager/X is:
  51.  
  52.                     - 10MB disc space for the LAN Manager/X software
  53.  
  54.                     - plus desired user file space - The amount of
  55.                     hard disk storage required on the server will
  56.                     depend on the customer's anticipated needs and the
  57.                     amount of hard disk storage on the PC client
  58.                     workstations.  Both the application software and
  59.                     the file space should be considered.  For typical
  60.                     office users, allocate 5 Mbytes per user; for
  61.                     optimum performance or heavy usage, allocate 10
  62.                     Mbytes per user.  Note that faster disks provide
  63.                     better performance.

  65.                     - Plus disk space required for swap space as shown
  66.                     in the following table:

  82.                     In order to run HP LAN Manager/X, users must
  83.                     purchase one of the following products from HP:

  85.                     - B1003C     LAN Manager/X for Series 300 / 400

  87.                     - B1011C     LAN Manager/X for Series 700 / 800

  89.                     When buying either of these products, customers
  90.                     get:

  92.                     * LAN Manager/X Server software and documentation
  93.                       (if a media option is ordered)

  95.                     * Microsoft (R) OS/2 LAN Manager client software
  96.                       and documentation

  98.                     * Microsoft DOS LAN Manager client software and

  101.                     * The right to make copies as needed of the DOS
  102.                       and OS/2 client software.  (Note:  the number of
  103.                       users accessing the server at any one time is
